Intrusion, burglary, and robbery alarms

One of the best ways to protect your home is with an alarm system. Studies have shown that you are far less likely to be a victim of a burglary if you have an alarm system installed.

Wireless security systems allow you to design a system protecting all outside doors and window entry points against intrusion, with the added security of interior motion detectors.

By using electronic sensors, wireless security informs you of any unauthorized activity both inside and outside your home with sirens, alarms and flashing lights. Simultaneously, an electronic signal is sent directly to the central monitoring system and the police are immediately dispatched to your home.

How it all works

Door/window sensors: These sensors detect the opening and closing of doors, windows, drawers or just about anything that opens and closes. Unauthorized entry will trigger the sensor, alerting you with an alarm.

Panic Buttons: You now have a portable way to send an emergency signal. You can place a panic button on your bed stand at night and keep it nearby when you bathe. Panic buttons are also available as lightweight pendants that can be worn around your neck day and night if you choose.

Glassbreak sensors: These detect glass being broken. They operate within 15 feet of any glass window and will alert you and authorities of any glass breaking before access is gained into your home.

Motion sensors: These devices detect the combination of heat and movement. As a backup device for complete perimeter window and door protection, motion detectors will activate when they encounter unauthorized motion within an area. In many cases, special motion detectors are available that are considered "pet friendly."

Climate controls: A wireless security system can even control temperature and lighting. Using a variety of electronic intrusion, motion, sound, fire and environmental sensors, a wireless security system monitors your surroundings. When a problem is detected, it relays the message to a central monitoring station and help is dispatched 24 hours a day, every day.
